An April Blessing
Let this month be an opening...
As the bud yields to blossom, not by force, but by sunlight
and stillness,
may we too open… softly, bravely… into the warmth of
becoming.
Let the petals of our being unfold...
not all at once, but in the rhythm of trust.
For each of us carries within a sacred seed,
not yet fully known, yet always becoming.
Let us meet one another as flowers do,
not with judgement, but with presence,
not with armour, but with colour, fragrance, truth.
Let the dew of kindness rest upon our words.
Let compassion root deeper than opinion.
Let love rise from us like scent in spring air...
unseen, but unmistakably there.
May we remember…
Even those who appear thorny
have blooms they protect.
Even those who seem withered
may be waiting for their season.
Let this April bless us….
not with noise, but with quiet blooming,
not with grand gestures, but with small acts of gentleness,
that shift the world, petal by petal.
Let this month be an opening.
Let us be the flowers we were always meant to be.
