Open Heart Prayer
Sacred One, the Breath of Life, the Silence Between All Things,
We
gather in the quiet of this moment,
Bringing
with us all that we carry, our joys and our burdens,
Our
questions and our longings, our grief and our hope.
May
we be at peace.
As
the wind moves through the trees, whispering songs of stillness,
May
we find in ourselves that same hush of the soul,
The
deep calm that allows us to rest in the embrace of life.
May
our hearts remain open.
Like
flowers turning to the sun,
May
we open ourselves to love,
Even
when love asks us to be vulnerable.
May
we not close ourselves off from the world,
But
instead, breathe deeply,
Knowing
that every breath connects us to all living things.
May
we awaken to the light of our own true nature.
May
we hear the song that has always been within us,
A
melody woven into the fabric of our being,
Calling
us home to ourselves.
May
we recognize the divine spark,
Glimmering
in each moment, in each face, in each quiet breath.
May
we be healed.
As
the river carves the stone, shaping it with gentle persistence,
May
healing come to us in its own time, in its own way.
May
it wash over our weariness,
May
it soften the places that have grown rigid with pain,
And
may it renew our spirits,
As
spring rain brings life to the thirsty ground.
May
we be a source of healing for all beings.
Not
just in words, but in presence.
Not
just in grand gestures, but in small kindnesses.
May
our lives sing a song of compassion,
Calling
forth harmony in a discordant world.
May
we become vessels of peace,
Offering
shelter to those who are lost,
Offering
warmth to those who are cold,
Offering
music to those who have forgotten how to dance.
And
in the presence of love,
All
wounds may find their rest.
Amen.
