A Blessing of the Universe
Blessed be, O Infinite Presence, in whom all the cosmos finds its origin and end,
From the vast expanse of shimmering stars to the delicate
dew upon the morning fern.
All glory, all honour, reside within Your boundless embrace,
For in You, we find the source and symphony of all that is,
ever was, and ever shall be.
Blessed be through the golden luminescence of Brother Sun,
Whose first light ushers in the promise of new beginnings,
Reflecting Your majesty in every dawn's embrace.
Through him, You kindle the fire of inspiration and warmth
in our hearts.
Blessed be through Sister Moon and the tapestry of the night
sky,
A celestial dance of light amidst the darkness, guiding our
dreams and our paths
With the gentle glow of wisdom and the steadfast rhythm of
grace.
Blessed be through the breath of Brothers Wind and Air,
Carriers of seeds, whispers of change, who navigate the
currents of time
With the songs of ancestors and the sighs of the earth,
Reminding us that we, too, are part of something greater, a
breath in the expanse of eternity.
Blessed be through Sister Water, essence of life, flowing
with the strength of gentleness,
In her clarity, we see the reflection of our true selves,
A reminder to flow with compassion, to cleanse with
forgiveness,
To nourish the roots of our being with purity and peace.
Blessed be through Brother Fire, illuminator of the night,
He who transforms, who challenges, who renews,
In his warmth, we gather to share stories, to build
community,
To witness the power of transformation, from spark to flame
to ember.
Blessed be through Mother Earth, our sacred home,
Provider of life's canvas, from her fertile soils to her
towering peaks,
In her diversity, we learn the language of unity,
Her resilience teaches us to thrive in the face of
adversity,
Her beauty, a constant reminder of the interconnectedness of
all things.
Blessed be through the hearts that seek forgiveness, through
the souls that embrace trial with peace, For they are the beacons of light in
the shadow, the harbingers of hope for us all.
In their endurance, we find strength; in their forgiveness,
we find liberation.
And blessed be through the mystery of our final sister,
Bodily Death, The ultimate surrender, a return to the cosmic womb from whence
we came. Let us not fear her embrace, but understand her as part of the cycle
of life, A transition to a new beginning, a different way of being in Your vast
creation. Praise and bless the Infinite Presence, with hearts wide open, In
gratitude, we walk this earth, mindful of our footsteps, Serving with humility,
loving with a boundlessness that mirrors the universe itself.
