The Colour of your Spirit

In the midst of an abundance of Grey,

We see the variances of Grey at play.

Grey walls, grey carpets, grey shops and towns,

Grey illness and death, grey that wears us down.

But we know, in the depths of our soul,

That the universe is a tapestry of colours, rich and whole.

Grey is but a veil, a mask we wear,

A cover that hides the vibrant hues we bear.

In the Grey, we cannot tell apart,

The Other, from the Other in our heart.

Is the world of Grey killing our spirit?

We need to break free, to let our colours lift.

We seek your guidance, Divine Spirit, to shed our Grey,

And step into the unknown, with courage we'll display.

Our spirits are vibrant, a divine work of art,

A spectrum of light that sets us apart.

From ultraviolet to the deepest of hues,

Our colours are true, they bring the world to views.

We pray to embrace our inner beauty and glow,

To let our colours, shine, and let our spirit flow.

With every step we take, may our colours bloom,

And the world will witness a new, vibrant tune.

Oh, may the universe bless us with its grace,

As we shed our Grey, and step into a new, colourful place.

Amen.
