Infinite Enigma… we find repose on this day… we attune ourselves to a steady
cadence… observing our breath… recognizing how our bodies find rest…
acknowledging the aches, the wounds, the inner scars, and heartbreaks… we guide
them towards tranquility… we stand by the reservoir of forgiveness.
We
find solace in knowing that whatever challenges, hurdles, and hardships may
cross our path… for this instant, let us find harmony with them...
May
we recognize the needless weight we bear from the past, years, months, weeks,
days, and hours… these have all passed… the past pulls our spirit away from our
true purpose… and even as our yearning seems the most distant… our essence
looks back to where we began… our lives do not belong there now… We have
journeyed too far… we should no longer dwell in days gone by…
And
may we not hasten blindly towards tomorrow…
If
we open our hearts to the presence of Wisdom; balanced with compassion… if we
release our pride, our dignity, our cravings… and we embrace ourselves with
tenderness and absolution…
If
we can clutch the past for a few fleeting moments… and let ourselves plunge
into the waters of forgiveness… may it be time to immerse in remembrance for
this moment and recall that we are beings living in the very instant we
inhabit… in this moment. May we be capable of emerging from the waters of
forgiveness and memory... grounded in the present day... at this very moment.
The
burden you bear is relinquished, and we stand renewed and invigorated in the
world… the world upon your shoulders washed clean… it is you who holds the
world, and the Great Mystery grins upon us… anticipating your return to the
present… the living Divine who resides in each moment… here, within this
hallowed instant. Amen.
