Seditionist
In
the eyes of the world, a Seditionist I became,
My
words, rooted in love, universal and unchained.
They
threatened arrest, a felon among the good,
Yet
my voice spoke with concern, only misunderstood.
A
grifter they claimed, a man merely winging it,
Aren't
we all navigating life, bit by bit?
Enough
is enough, I resolved in my heart,
No
more would I bear their mean-spirited art.
With
firm gentleness, I approached, undeterred,
Confronting
their error, my truth to be heard.
They
had the wrong person, but a thought lingered still,
Was
there truth in their words, a lesson to distil?
