Lift yourself into life's heart, to love and live,

We stagger, we fall, we share in each other's sadness,

It is I who heals my own broken heart, and within me,

Lies the kingdom of God...

 

The comfort we seek is found in the comfort we give,

When we reach out to hold a hand, they hold ours too,
