The deep love of wolves
Verily,
the unbridled joy of companionship,
Doth
bear witness to the mysteries of the divine,
As
two souls unite, they become one fellowship,
Their
love, a bond that forever shall entwine.
Their
oath, written on ancient manuscript,
An
expression of the everlasting human spirit,
Their
bond fortified by the anima and animus,
A
union of the conscious and unconscious limit.
Their
sense of belonging is beyond our knowing,
For
in the depths of the human soul it doth reside,
When
parted, their grief a wound that keeps growing,
A
testament to the pains of the heart and mind.
Only
a few of us have this harrowing,
A
symbol of the individuation process at hand,
If
we find that call, will our love be that brief?
Or
shall it grow, a symbol of the Self's expanded land?
Companionship,
a bond that doth transcend,
A
reflection of the innermost parts of the human soul,
A
love that endures beyond the limits of time and space,
For
it is a union of the conscious and unconscious whole.
