The Air we Breathe...
They gravitate towards that which dims their sight,
Drunk on shadows, their nature steeped in the night,
They
inhale suspicion, in their world devoid of light.
Their breath tainted with melancholy, soaked in spite,
A lingering bitterness that swallows all delight,
Yet,
we yearn for a horizon, a future more bright.
May we be graced with a vision that's pure and light,
A panorama that sings of day breaking the night,
Unearthing
the potential of goodness, in its radiant might.
May our breath be infused with the spirit of kindness,
Filling our lungs, soothing our mind's blindness,
In every exhale, may we find compassionate mindfulness.
And may they too be touched by the dawn's brightness,
Bathing their hearts in a gentler light, banishing harshness,
Guided towards a vista of empathy and forgiveness
In a world that often eclipses the sun,
May we find the strength to choose love, not shun,
To breathe in kindness, until the darkness is undone.
So, blessings, my friend, in the twilight and the sun,
As we navigate this journey, we've only just begun,
In
the end, may all our battles with shadows be won.
